Meet our four-legged animal team members

Meadow
Gypsy Vanner, born 2018
Meadow is a Gypsy Vanner who was donated to Mountain View Farms by Meadowbrook Gypsies and Tasha Landman. They have a breeding program with a passion for supporting programs like ours as well as individuals who are in search of quality horses. They breed animals that are kind, intelligent, and people oriented. Meadow has been a wonderful addition to our program. She has a silly personality that always highlights her love of people and willingness to learn. She can be seen enjoying the sun and green grass out in the pasture, playing with her herd members, or getting into mischief in the barn.

Beau
Gypsy Vanner, born 2015
Beau is a Gypsy Vanner we rescued when he was three. When he first arrived, he was shy, untrained, and had a broken spirit. After a lot of work from Aubrey, he has developed into a favorite here and is chosen more than any other horse in the herd. He has formed lasting connections with many clients at the farm, and he continues to steal the hearts of those who meet him. On his days off he can be found jumping and playing in the pasture like a big dog so proud of all his moves!

Timbie
Belgian, born 2013
Timbie is a Belgian draft horse who has driven by the Amish for most of his life. He is a confident driving horse and continues to build his skills under saddle. He loves children and will put his head down low so that he can enjoy a cuddle. In his previous life he worked really hard and didn’t know what it was like to be loved by humans. During his time here he has learned to love his new job and appreciate any connection he can have with people.

Rigel
Gypsy Vanner, born 2020
Rigel is a Gypsy Vanner who came to us from Meadowbrook Gypsies and Tasha Landman. Rigel is young so he is continuing his trail riding exposure and enjoys being out exploring. He has a kind, loving heart with a huge personality. He loves to play and be engaged in anything his fellow herd members are doing. When he’s not working, he can be found finding sticks at at wood line of the pasture and chasing his herd members to engage them in a little dog-like game of “keep away”.

Manny
Paint, born 2021
Manny is a registered paint and is continuing his age-appropriate training here on the farm. Currently Manny is working on his baby skills, learning boundaries, groundwork, and beginning under saddle. He has a sweet personality and loves to be kissed on his nose. During his time off he can be found playing in the pasture and trying to convince other herd members to chase him. He also has love for the barn cats. When they join him in the pasture he tries very had to sniff them gently to avoid any hissing.

Honey
Quarter Horse, born 2013
Honey is the newest member of the herd, having joined in the fall of 2024. She is continuing her training for the program and building her confidence around new people. She remains quite shy but is starting to show signs of trust and openness to connect with people. She has been enjoying the acres of pastureland and exploring out on the trails. Honey is also learning to be a herd member again after many years of being alone.

Remi
(1999-2023)
Remi was the first horse to begin our program here as well as Aubrey’s personal mount. He remains honored as a part of herd and his spirit will remain in our hearts forever. His nickering in the barn for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and being Aubrey’s trusted cofacilitator through countless sessions is truly missed. He rests under a rose bush near the counseling office to remain close to those he cherished near and dear.

Luna
Tuxedo, born 2023
Luna was born on the farm and is the daughter to Clover. She is a curious young cat and enjoys spending her time inside during the winter and outside most of the day during the summer. She can be found warming up in various snuggle spots or begging friendly visitors for snacks and belly rubs.

Clover
Short furred brown tabby
Clover is our original barn cat. She came from a local dairy barn as a kitten. She enjoys spending as much time with clients as possible. She can be found in the barn or lounging on the couch in the office. During covid she surprised us with two kittens due to her spaying being delayed and she continues to watch them grow and develop here on the farm.

Leo
Short furred brown tabby, born 2023
He was born on the farm and is the son of Clover. Leo is timid around people he doesn’t know and spends most of his day hunting and watching the farm from a distance. In the early morning and afternoon, he can be found enjoying a nap upstairs in the hay loft. He loves to climb trees and chase birds.

Lucy
Long furred tortoiseshell, born 2020
Lucy is a small cat, only about 6-lbs. She is curious, silly, and opinionated! Her love language is play – loves to play and play! She is a connoisseur of comfort and warmth, and she offers a sweet, gentle, caring presence in her work as therapy cat. She has a trauma history, that has resulted in some chronic health problems. She has been getting treatment for these health problems, but because of this, her time in the office will be sporadic until she is fully cleared for full time work.

Huey
Black lab mix, born 2024
Huey is one of our therapy dogs here on the farm and he’s also the son of Phoebe. He works on the farm daily alongside Phoebe. He is a very intuitive animal and takes pride in his connections to other people. He knows when clients are experiencing an emotion and will cofacilitate with Aubrey to alert her to different needs of the clients. When Huey is off duty, he can be found swimming in the pond, eating snacks, and taking care of his family.

Phoebe
Black lab mix, born 2018
Phoebe is one of our therapy dogs here on the farm. She enjoys her job and loves to see familiar faces. She’s friendly, kind, and always looking for someone to shake with. She works with clients daily and though she has a few favorites, she adores everyone. During her down time, she can be found sleeping on the lawn in the sun, laying in many of the streams around the farm to cool off, and watching the horses graze.
