Intensives customized to meet your needs
Every person is unique, and every person’s counseling needs are going to be different. When we have our intake conversation, we will discuss what your goals and needs are and together we will create an intensive plan for you. We work with all adults (ages 18+). The information on this page is intended to give you an idea of what some of our offerings are and the associated costs.
Intensives have the option of adding equine interactions and adventure activities into your therapy work. Equine interactions involve incorporating horses into the experiential work of your intensive. Read more about the benefits of incorporating animals in this article. Adventure activities include hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, etc. Any equipment needed for the adventuring is provided.
The packages listed on this page will give you a sense of the additional cost of these optional add-ons. Basic equine interactions add an additional fee (priced according to specifics of the intensive). Adventure activities add an additional $200 per day. All of the fees listed on this page assume payment in form of credit card, if paying by cash or check, deduct 3% from listed fee.
Individual intensives
Sex & love addiction intensives
Betrayal from sex and love addiction severely harms relationships for the addict, their partner and others who are part of the family system. Sex & love addiction intensives are geared to address the issues related to sex and love addiction, such as helping the addict take their recovery to the next level, whether one is starting recovery or advancing existing recovery work, helping a partner of an addict work through betrayal trauma and all that arises from being in partnership with an addict, and helping heal relationships that has been impacted from relationship and sexual betrayal. We have found having two counselors guide the work of relationship restoration provides the best support for each party in the process and improves restoration outcomes.
Healing trauma intensives
There are many harms that can create trauma. Often when people think about trauma, they consider acute incidents such as sexual, physical, emotional assault, violent events, military combat, car crashes, etc. Those experiences can certainly lead to the brain encoding those events as traumatic. Sometimes trauma can also come from what was not provided, such as chronic emotional neglect, lack of physical and/or emotional safety, resource scarcity (poverty), etc. The healing trauma intensive creates a safe space to address the trauma one has experienced and work further towards freedom from the impact of such trauma.

Professional trainings

We fully believe in the experiential methods we utilize in our intensives, and we are happy to teach other qualified professionals the same methods. In our training you can expect to encounter several different types of learning experiences. These can include, but are not limited to, times of psychoeducation, where information is being presented cognitively through oral presentation and discussion. More often, we utilize experiential learning methods, where information will be relayed through the mechanisms of action and activity, and less through cognition. When we experience experientially based learning, it tends to be a richer experience than cognitive learning. However, experiential based learning requires active participation from the student, which means the learning process will require greater emotional vulnerability from the students.
We occasionally offer scheduled training groups that we advertise. We also offer customized trainings to your needs, just reach out to us and we will discuss the options.
Post-intensive aftercare
Written aftercare plan
Before the intensive ends, we will together create a custom aftercare plan for you. Everyone leaves with a plan for next steps. This plan will focus on three areas.
- Re-entry: The immediate transition back into life.
- Ongoing self-care: What is needed to continue the progress and growth experienced during the intensive.
- Recommendations: specific recommendations for you.
If you have an existing counselor that you have been working with, with your permission, we can send them a treatment summary of your intensive work and your aftercare plan to help your counselor support you as you transition back into life post-intensive.
Follow-up care
Many people find it helpful to schedule some follow-up care after an intensive. This time can be helpful to provide accountability on goals, further help with utilizing tools and resources gained in the intensive, and to support you as you continue working toward your life goals.
- Follow-up meetings can be half day or full day.
- In-person or telehealth (depending on where you are located) options available.
- There is a 10% discount for follow-up care meetings that are scheduled at the conclusion of your regularly scheduled intensive. Otherwise, follow-up care meetings are billed at the standard fee.
